Ride Motorcycles,
Have Fun.
Simple, functional, honest gear — built by riders, for riders. This is the story behind Biltwell.
Biltwell was born in 2005 in Southern California, when a couple of friends burnt out on the action sports industry decided there had to be a better way to gear up for riding.
They saw a gap in the market: parts and gear that were either over-designed and overpriced, or cheap and forgettable. So they set out to build something honest instead — simple, functional pieces with a genuine aesthetic, built by riders for riders, with no interest in chasing trends.
That philosophy is what turned Biltwell's helmet range into a mainstay of the custom and vintage motorcycle scene. The open-face Gringo (and its variations) became something of a cult classic, while the full-face Lane Splitter and the retro-styled Tahoe extended that same stripped-back approach to riders wanting more coverage without losing the look. None of it was designed to be flashy — just solid, wearable design that's stood the test of time.
Through the industry's ups and downs, Biltwell has stayed stubbornly true to that original vision, still headquartered in Temecula, California, and still guided by the same simple mantra: Ride Motorcycles, Have Fun.
Designed and tested by people who actually ride — not a boardroom.
Simple, functional and fairly priced. No trend-chasing, no fluff.
Vintage-right looks, certified to modern safety standards.
